We acquired and planted our property in the Yarra Valley in 1995 and welcomed the first vintage of Toolangi in 2000. Now in our 12th year of producing wines, our focus continues to be the production of exemplary wines. Our highly regarded wines are a tribute to a great vineyard site and our passionate winemakers.

CHARDONNAY 12 NEWS

Following on from the very successful
Chardonnay 10 event in 2010, we are now
organising Chardonnay 12 to be held in the
Yarra Valley on June 16, 2012. This is an
international tasting event comparing the
best of the Yarra Valley with chardonnays
from around the world. Tasting and
discussions will be led by the panel of
esteemed wine experts, James Halliday,
Huon Hooke and Bob Campbell. Tickets
available mid February 2012.

2007 RESERVE CHARDONNAY
This is chardonnay writ very large: it's as full-bodied and hedonistic as it comes. Deep yellow; rich, nutty, nougat, toasted, caramelised bouquet which is voluminous and opulent in the mouth. Power, concentration and length. Majestic stuff!

2009 CHARDONNAY
Medium yellow and quite rich in the mouth, this junior Toolangi chardonnay has some of the showy hazelnut and nougat style of the Reserve. There's a hint of funk, and the dense, soft, rewarding palate is kept tight and lively by tangy acidity. Made at Yering Station.
