Tasting Notes:
This Syrah from our Rochford Home Vineyard has a spicy nose of pepper, clove and cardamom. Boysenberry fruit combine with licorice, dried flowers and whole bunch influence. The palate has a nice medium weight, red fruits a plenty, soft licorice (again) and has a fine rocky tannin giving a complex structure.

Picked on 15th of March 2024
Vinification & Elevage: The fruit was partially destemmed as whole berries, with 10% left as whole bunches for fermentation. After fermentation, it was pressed into French oak foudre for maturation and malolactic conversion. The wine spent 10 months in oak before being bottled.

Sourced from Syrah clones PT23, Great Western and 1654 from the Rochford Winery Vineyard in Coldstream.
