Toolangi Chardonnay 2020

RRP: $30.00
SOLD OUT
Tasting Notes: The nose of this wine opens with white florals, grapefruit skin and candle wax notes. With air more of the savour lee's complexities are revealed. The palate has considerable presence of citrus fruits and a light chew of phenolic resulting from this ultra-low cropping year. The finish is lively as always, but the texture certainly gives personality and offers plenty of interest.
Winemaking Notes: Hand-picked between 7th & 14th March 2020
Vinification & Elevage: Fruit is crushed and pressed to French oak barriques, puncheons and a foudre (10% new) for primary fermentation. Partial malolactic conversion, 8 months on lees in oak.
