Tasting Notes:
This redition of F Block chardonnay displays the coolness of the 2023 season with its delicacy while also echoing the power and concentration of this great and special site. Aromas of small white flowers, white nectarine, flowering apple blossom, gunflint and cinnamon. The palate shows pear, grapefruit, mouth perfume with an apple based acidity. The palate builds width over time but the length crackles with energetic feeling. It’s subtle yet confident and always complex.

Hand-picked 14th March 2023
Vinification & Elevage: Whole bunch pressed to 20% new French oak barriques for primary fermentation. Full malolactic conversion the wine remained on less without SO2 until blending for bottling. 120 dozen produced.
Viticultural Notes:
Fruit sourced from F Block at Toolangi Vineyard, Dixons Creek in the Northern end of the Yara Valley. Planted in 2001, Gingin clone on own roots.
